The Box Hill Athletic Club has a long and successful history since being founded in 1932, and has had many international representatives.
Box Hill Athletic Club hosts inter-club athletics competitions at Hagenauer's Reserve each Saturday during the track season with many clubs from the surrounding districts competing at the Box Hill venue. The Club has teams entered in all grades of competition which provides opportunities for athletes of all ages and standard to compete every week.
Hundreds of athletes, senior and junior compete each week. The reserve is also used for Little Athletics on Saturday mornings and is hired by many of the colleges and schools in the district during the week.
