Barlow Foundation
The Barlow Foundation, named after club life members Alan & Reg Barlow, is an Australian Sports Foundation registered project with the aim of supporting the development of facilities and purchase of equipment for the benefit of members of the Box Hill Athletic Club and others users of the facilities at the Club's home base at Hagenauer's Reserve, Box Hill.
Tax deductible donations can be made to the Australian Sports Foundation, which are then received in the form of grants by Box Hill Athletic Club. To date grants have been used to assist with funding of major upgrades to the pavilion and Club rooms at Hagenauer's Reserve.
Future projects which the Club plans to undertake over the next few years include resurfacing of the track, widening of the front straight to 10 lanes, construction of a new dual long jump / triple jump runup and extension of the high jump runup.
The Club is also committed to ongoing pruchase of new equipment and upgrade of existing equipment to provide the best possible facilities for our members.
