Facilities
With the many improvements made to the ground and facilities over the past few years, Hagenauer’s Reserve at Box Hill continues to maintain its status as one of the best track and field facilities in the state, and a more than suitable alternative to Olympic Park.
The complex boasts the following facilities :
- Eight lane polyurethane track, fully marked in accordance with IAAF requirements for all running, relay and hurdle events.
- Rekortan runups for
- long jump and triple jump
- pole vault
- Polyurethane runups for
- javelin
- high jumps - with uprights, bars and porta pit landing bags for two concurrent competitions
- Two concrete shot putt rings with an all weather shot impact arena.
- Concrete discus and hammer throw rings in IAAF approved safety cages.
- Adjustable height hurdles for ten flights in eight lanes.
- Public address system.
- Canteen facilities.
- Under cover grandstand.
- Ample bus and car parking.
- Floodlights suitable for competition use.

Pavilion Upgrade
In recent years, the pavilion at the ground has undergone a major upgrade with the construction of new public toilets, change rooms and showers, a new First Aid Room and new officials room.
In addition, an upgraded weight training room has been developed and new rooms provided on the first floor for photo finish, officials and a general indoors training and social area.
