Box Hill followed on from our recent success at the National Club Championships by winning the Athletics Victoria Open Men’s Shield Final at Doncaster on Saturday 16th February. To cap off a great weekend for the Club, the men’s Under 16 team also had a comprehensive victory, while the men’s open Division 2 team finished a close second to St Stevens Hawthorn. The Open Women's Division 1 team finish 5th in a closely fought final, while the women’s Under 18 team finished 4th and the Under 14 team finished 6th. AUSTRALIAN CLUB CHAMPIONS
- On Saturday 19th January, Box Hill claimed both the men's and women's titles at the Australian Club Championships in Hobart. This was the just the second time that the Club has claimed an Australian Club Championship title and the first win for the women's team. The track at Hagenauer's Reserve will be closed for resurfacing from Tuesday 4th December 2007 until the end of April 2008. Arrangements have been made for Club members to train at Nunawading on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday evenings and Sunday afternoons.
