ROUND 8 OF SHIELD COMPETITION ON THIS SATURDAY AT NUNAWADING
Shield competition will resume this Saturday, January 9, at Nunawading. Some people will be away on holidays, so those of you who are available to compete, please make a special effort to be there. This program will be the same as that used for the finals (200, 800, 3000, 3000 walk, 400 hurdles, 4x400m, shot, hammer, high jump, triple jump) so this is a great opportunity to do all the events that you might be needed for in the finals.
This round is also a zone v zone competition, which simply means that 2 zones will be competing together at Nunawading this Saturday.
Note that the program starts early at 12:00 noon, with the 400m hurdles, the 3000m walk and all field events. See the attached program.
SHIELD ROUND 9 STARTS IN THE MORNING!
Please note that round 9 of shield competition on Saturday, January 16 at Albert Park, starts in the morning. Field events commence at 9:00am and track events start at 10:00am. The program will conclude at about 3:00pm
