A very successful XCR’22 winter season concluded with some great performances at the Tan Relays last Saturday. Box Hill had 52 runners competing, of which 32 picked up medals on the day.
Box Hill had many good results over the season, with special mention to our Under 16 men’s team of Kalan Luong, Campbell Brooks, Jack Ewison, Fabiano Aguiard and Andre Maillardet. who won the premiership in their division.
We had one of our best years for individual results, with Andre Waring being crowned the winter champion and six other Box Hill athletes winning their age group titles.

In other results, Melissa Duncan, Georgia Hansen and Victoria Skaltsonis finished 2nd, 3rd and 4th, respectively, in the open women’s winter championship. Doug Buckeridge finished 2nd in the under 20 men, Kerry Putt 2nd in the Over 50 women (short course) and John Meagher 2nd in the over 55 Men.
